Barry Williams
Managing Director

Barry serves as Managing Director at BCi Digital, leveraging over two decades of expertise in media distribution and global project delivery. Known for his entrepreneurial mindset, Barry has driven high-value initiatives across Europe, Latin America, and the U.S., often under aggressive timelines and tight budgets. His background spans engineering design roles at Ericsson and Tandberg Television through to senior leadership, giving him a unique ability to bridge technical innovation with commercial impact and to uncover new business opportunities in competitive markets.

John Bartlett
CTO

John is the founder of BCi Digital and brings over 30 years of leadership and innovation in the media and communications industry. He has been instrumental in shaping television and digital media technologies across the UK and Europe, guiding the strategic technology direction of BCi Digital and overseeing complex, large-scale projects for global clients. John’s pioneering work includes the launch of Sky’s AdSmart service, and contributions to national industry committees and major standards bodies, underscoring his reputation as a trusted advisor and forward-thinking technologist.

Richard White
Director of Engineering

Richard brings over 25 years of experience in the communications and broadcast media industry, specialising in video compression system design and deployment. He has architected and optimized encoding and transcoding workflows for both live and on-demand services, ensuring every solution is robust, serviceable, and performs to demanding service levels. At BCi Digital, Richard leads the engineering and support teams, overseeing initial requirements, implementation, and  operational support, to deliver high-impact solutions and resolve the most complex technical challenges.

Matthew Huntington
Director of Marketing and Strategy

Matthew Huntington is Director of Strategy and Marketing at BCi Digital, leading product strategy and market development across the company’s technology portfolio. With extensive experience in digital media and broadcast innovation, he focuses on aligning products with customer needs and emerging trends, guiding roadmap definition, positioning, and partnerships to deliver long-term commercial and technical success.

Victoria Sjuve
Head of Product & Programme Management

Vicky brings extensive broadcast technology expertise and a strong foundation in project management to her role. She oversees the full product lifecycle, conducting market analysis, defining feature requirements, and prioritizing roadmaps, while coordinating with engineering, sales, and support teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases. Her strategic leadership keeps our solutions aligned with client needs and industry trends, driving continuous improvement and customer success.

Geoff Routledge
Principal Systems Architect

Geoff Routledge is a senior technology leader with decades of experience in broadcast, digital media, and systems architecture. He has delivered complex technical programmes across production, media asset management, and addressable advertising, bringing deep expertise in systems design, integration, and quality assurance. At BCi Digital, Geoff oversees architecture strategy, platform evolution, and key technical partnerships. He ensures solutions are resilient, scalable, and aligned with client objectives and industry trends.

By car

From M3 towards Southampton

  • Take exit towards Airport/Portsmouth.
  • Merge onto the M27 toward Portsmouth.
  • At Junction 11 take the A27 exit to Fareham Central/Gosport/A32.
  • At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A27.
  • Follow the instructions from A27 below.

From M3 towards Portsmouth

  • Merge onto the M27 towards Farnham and Southampton.
  • At Junction 11 take the A27 exit to Fareham Central/Gosport.
  • At the roundabout, take the 1st exist onto A27.
  • Follow the instructions from A27 below.

From A27 approaching Fareham

  • Follow the A27 toward Fareham/Gosport until you reach the Town Quay roundabout (Tesco on your right).
  • Keep left for the A32 into Gosport, passing two roundabouts.
  • Continue on the A32  past Fort Brockhurst and St Vincent College. Shortly after the oil tanks, turn left onto Weevil Lane (signposted “Royal Clarence Yard”)

Parking: 

  • Cooperage Green Visitor Car Park (1st right on Weevil Lane; 4 hrs free; postcode PO12 1AX)
  • North Meadow Visitor Parking (at far end of Weevil Lane; limited spaces; postcode PO12 1BP)

By public transport

Train to Portsmouth Harbour

  • From London Waterloo, catch a South Western Railway service to Portsmouth Harbour (~1 hr 32 min fastest; regular direct trains). Take the ferry to Gosport as described below.

Ferry to Gosport

  • At Portsmouth Harbour station, follow signs to the Gosport Ferry terminal (a 2 min walk). Ferries run every 15 minutes; crossing time is ~4 minutes. Walk or taxi to the Marina as described below.

  • On foot: 
    • Exit Gosport ferry, turn right onto the A32 and walk ~15 minutes along the Waterfront Trail (look for chain-link stones) until you reach Weevil Lane.
    • Enter the Royal Clarence Yard at Weevil Lane and take the 1st right into Osbourne Road.
    • Walk to the bottom of the carpark (the first row of buildings) and take the first left. At the T-junction walk around the building and join Salt Malt Lane.
    • When the lane opens out into a carpark turn right, take the second left and the entrance door to the Mill is immediately on your right.
  • By taxi:  A 5-minute ride from Gosport ferry drop-off directly to Royal Clarence Yard.
