A flexible HbbTV application for dynamic ad insertion

Otter is a flexible, white-labelled HbbTV application enabling addressable advertising through standards based dynamic ad insertion (DAI). It is designed to get the best performance out of the HbbTV capabilities supported by a device (e.g. television, set-top box), with support for both media sync and media switcher (HbbTV-TA).

Otter can be deployed for non-addressable use cases including device capability audits and audience measurement. It builds on BCi Digital’s 20+ years of expertise in broadcast technology and proven success in launching over 40 Sky AdSmart services.

Otter is fully integrated with BCi Digital’s Ocelot end-to-end solution for addressable advertising but can also be easily integrated with third-party solutions through open standards. It can be deployed as a standalone application or as an add-on library for existing deployed applications.
